Christmas in Warwick

What better way to launch in to Christmas than to visit Warwick's world-famous Victorian Evening . All the wonderful atmosphere of the Festive Season with Father Christmas arriving, Stalls, Entertainments, Lights Switch On, Carols, Old-fashioned rides, and much more.

5th July - Summer Concert with Fireworks
Don't miss a fantastic evening of music, opera and fireworks in the stunning grounds of Warwick Castle at the best event of its kind in the Midlands.The annual summer concert this year features the Welsh National Opera playing operatic favourites and finishes with a spectacular firework finale. 6th July - Queen - A Symphonic & Rock Spectacular

Singers and musicians, street entertainers and Morris dancers - it seems that anybody and everybody who enjoys folk music heads for Warwick in July each year.
Since its humble beginnings in 1979, the annual Warwick Folk Festival has developed into one of the most highly regarded folk events on the national and international scene, attracting fans from all over Britain and as far afield as the USA and Australia.
2008 is our 29th festival! If you've not been for years, come and see what's changed. If you've never been to Warwick Folk Festival, come and see what you're missing!
Warwick Folk Festival has become a major highlight on the British music calendar attracting people from all over the country and beyond. One of the attractions of the Festival is the live music and dance which is programmed around the town centre including hotels and public houses. 
This year we are introducing the very first Street Festival which will include; two free concerts, events, Family Ceilidhs, free workshops, storytelling, live music and dance events for the people of Warwick during the Folk Festival weekend 25-27 July.

Warwick Racecourse
Meetings throughout the year
The best racecourse in the Midlands with top class public and corporate facilities. The new £3million grandstand refurbishment provides a multitude of bars and restaurants as well as superb views of the racing. The feature race is run each January, the £100,000 Tote Classic Chase, one of the top ten chases in the country.
Warwick races every month of the year, other than October.
